“The inn needs some rehabbing. The carpets were ripped in spots. There was molding missing on a corner wall. Later noticed it was standing up in the corner of the room.”

“It's all automated. You get check in via site and receive a door code via text. I had to text asking for the wifi pass, but the replies were prompt. The bed was so comfortable, I got the best night of sleep in a long time and I'll be ordering some of the pillows and towels online. The tub is deep and a good soak was therapy for me. There's also a stand-up shower. The lodge is quieter than a hotel or inn and I could hardly hear other guests, though I still sleep with my favorite sound...

“It was really bleh. I was in room 12, i paid extra for the jacuzzi tub and didn't even use it, it didn't look clean. The bathroom has a lower ceiling, if you're 6' and over chances are you dont fit in the shower. The amenities were bad. The carpet in the room should be removed. If anything ask for room 1 to 11. In 12 you are in a renovated garage, you have two rooms over your head and you are located in the center of a parking lot. I would not book again. The check in is all via texts so thats...

“Lake view was amazing! They have kayaks there on site to use, no charge ! My daughter-in-law & granddaughter used one and loved it being out there on the lake! Our room was a room that you expect when you are in the mountains, it was like a cabin, beds , bathroom , we had air conditioning and heat , gets chilly at night lol…. Staff was on site and Lobby was open to check in, not sure why all the bad reviews … when your up in Lake Placid all you need is the room to sleep there was so much to do !...

“I have stayed at Hot Sara before and enjoyed it. This time, however, we were placed in the "annex" section. The room was terrible - we nicknamed it "the dungeon". Little tiny windows, bare bulb overhead lighting, inadequate bulb-type bedside lighting. We had a suite and it was the least luxurious thing I have ever stayed in. “Very nice property. Parking was a challenge with the race. I parked on the lower level and always found a spot. Maybe just spruce up the entrance down low (I know it’s a maintenance area) but it’s also a hotel entrance. Front enterance could Use some sprucing as well. May seem Minor, but this is the guests first impression. I will Just trying to help with some Useful feedback. Definitely be Back.”
