"Truly a lovely hotel! Easy access to the train station and they send someone to pick you up when you first arrive. The staff and service were all amazing and made sure our stay was very comfortable. We had a river view room which was spectacular. The rooms were great and I particularly loved the bathroom! We loved opening the windowing and hearing the roar of the river. Very close to where you have to line up for the bus to Machu Picchu and plenty of restaurants nearby, including the one in the hotel. "

"Stayed 1 night, 3 minute walk to machu picchu bus, they backed our breakfast so we could take it to go at 4:30am (we had 6 am entrance). Nice hot water shower and good bedding"

"On the morning of October 1st we were caught in a heavy downpour at Machu Picchu and ended up completely soaked. Even though we had already checked out, we went back to the Inkaterra front desk in the afternoon to ask for help. The two ladies and one gentleman who received us were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and very efficient. They quickly arranged access to the spa so we could take a hot shower, and the front desk kindly helped dry our coats and shoes. Thanks to their thoughtful assistance, we didn’t catch a cold after being drenched, and our trip continued smoothly. We are deeply grateful for their kindness and efficiency, and would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all three of them. Truly outstanding service that made a real difference in our journey!"

"After initial issues with outside noise and a move to a room far from the noise, I was given an updated modern room plus a complimentary dessert plate as a gesture acknowledging my troubles. The hotel is very convenient near the central Plaza de Armas where there is nightly free entertainment plus many shops and restaurants."

"Arrived a little late due to train stoppages from protests. Check in was nice and easy. Room was on the 5th floor, no elevator, so it’s a climb. But it’s good for you. Rooms are small but very nice and manageable. They have hairdryers if you ask. They had hair soap and bar soap. Bed was comfy. No ac or heat but didn’t matter it was still cool. We left next morning at 0520 and they gave us a bagged breakfast/lunch (sandwhich, water, juice, banana and bar). The following day we had breakfast and it was awesome. Fresh eggs, fresh fruit, fresh bread, coffee and teas. Close to bus for Machu Picchu and train station. "
