“We were dissapointed with the old shabby place. It was different from the pictures. Pictures should be updated in real. ”

“We liked that we had a ground floor bedroom which very nice. The breakfast was superb. The staff that we met were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.”

“As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. ”

“Great hotel in a perfect location overlooking the river. I had a comfortable stay - the room and especially the bathroom were very small (I struggled to close the bathroom door without squeezing behind it) The breakfast was very nice and made to order with quality ingredients. Check in was good but the reception staff should inform guests that the key ring for the hotel room also acts as a fob for the hotel gates. “The low cost was the main attraction. It is literally a room in someones house but we were made very welcome. Be prepared to take off your shoes on entry. I had been traveling for many hours so my feet were nit quits fresh. The bed is very comfortable. The pool and spa is 1.5 miles away in a leisure centre so we didn’t bother”
