“We paid for a superior room to have a balcony. Our room was tiny with no balcony (when you opened the wardrobe doors they touched the bed). We should have had a mini bar. No mini bar or balcony. When we spoke to the manager we’re told they have 3 superior rooms and we had 1, only 1 has a balcony and you have to email to request it. But we paid the same and got a standard room. Lovely to have the rooftop pool but very few beds so you were lucky to get one and in October the pool, although...

“The location of the Hotel Miramar is fantastic. It is right across from the beach and a short walk to the Medina. The staff were friendly and helpful. The terrace was a wonderful place to have coffee, tea, and dessert. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is a little rundown and in need of refreshing. And, there is no air conditioning, and the rooms don’t have any air circulation so they are very warm. They provided us with a fan which helped a little but it was still uncomfortable. ”
