โWe really enjoyed our overnight stay at West Lodge. We had a tranquil garden room so there was no outside noise at all. We also enjoyed being one of two couples in the dining room. Upon ringing the bell the owner arrived promptly and took our orders for cooked breakfast. It soon arrived and was of excellent quality. We will definitely book again if we are in the locality.โ
โI came in June 2025 and came back in August 2025 and was just as pleased as the first stay. Perfect location, very clean rooms,,the staff is perfect informative and always helpful. My room was perfect with a perfect view. My first stay in June was for 6 nights and this stay in August was for 6 nights. You step out of the hotel directly to your safe boardwalk and it is located next to the town for all you needs and comfort โ
โI stayed with my mum who is in a wheelchair. The Fox provided a ramp, removeable suction hand grips, rubber shower mat and a shower seat without asking. Access via the terrace. Perfect! โ
โEasy to get to and with good links to the various parts of Bedfordshire, it was an ideal property for my stay given it's proximity to the location I needed to visit the following morning. The room had all that I needed for my stay including complimentary shower gels, water, tea & coffee offerings and the breakfast menu was varied enough that I had a good choice to choose from.โ
โEveryone who worked there was really nice. Little hard to find a shop open in the evening so just be prepped. Iโm sure they have extra food at the hotel โ
