Nice hotel, friendly and very helpful staff. Hotel is very close to the beautiful Matsumoto Castle. Further walk to the station (about 15 minutes), and to restaurants, but overall I liked it.

Dormy Inn Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring
Hotel is clean, comfortable with convenient to access to public transport. The onsen was very nice... a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day. Staff was pleasant.

Room we paid for 3 people was hugh. 4 people could stayed - 2 super single beds and 1 queen bed. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils. An induction cooker which we did not use.
