“I booked this hotel because it wasn’t too terribly expensive and the pet fee was great. However, I wouldn’t say this hotel is really “pet friendly.” The pet area has no grass and is all dirt and right on top of a hill. “Our room was on the third floor on the rear of the building it was very quiet We had a great suprise on our last night when a herd of goats including kids came climbing down the hill and then later when back up the steep hill Restaurant was excellent we took advantage of of the June special 16oz T-bone steak $12.95 Service was good”

“It took a while for someone to come up to front desk to check-in and there was not a bell to ring. Also, it seemed most of the stairwells down went right into the casino which is not ideal with a child, so we had to walk back up and take elevator.”

“On arrival parking was atrocious, directed to another lot, while it was hailing. Front desk clerk was not helpful at all, had a bit of an attitude and did not assist with assigning a proper room. The hotel appears newish. Half the rooms are on the busy highway, and windows do not block sound. My friend stayed in room on the old Main Street, and was woken by horses walking by at 530. “This hotel is amazing. I love the old building mixed in with new amenities. You do have to park about 3 blocks away in a ramp, but, for the location it was worth it. Casino and Gift Shop located very close to the front desk. The one thing I wish was explained better was if the products in the fridges near the front desk were for guests to take....like coffees, waters, etc... being there isn't a breakfast/restaurant on property we thought maybe there were for the taking but weren't sure. ...
