“Our stay here was disappointing. Restaurant: closed. Bar: closed. Our room was sad, and noisy; it was hard to sleep with a rattling mini fridge and extremely loud and outdated AC. Since all the amenities were closed, it made for a miserable stay. Even the bikes that are supposed to be for the guest's entertainment were old and rusty that I didn't want to risk riding an unkept bike. Not coming back here again.”

“Clean and comfortable accomodations. Quiet. Only complaint was the wife thought the water did not get hot enough to take a hot bath. Fun surroundings with farm atmosphere and peaceful area.”

“Beautiful new facility. Great location - easy walk to the historic area. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with options a step above the usual hotel offering. Only complaint was apparently they have a mandatory $15/day valet parking which was not mentioned in the listing nor explained upon our arrival. We had no parking issues the first two days of our stay but on our third day a valet informed us we had to pay $15 to park there. He became very rude and stated he would have our vehicle...

Additionally, the staff (in particular Medina, Sydney and Jake) were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Absolutely wonderful experience. “Place was just ok for a couple night stay. You have to go to another loction to pick up and drop off key. Staff there were friendly. Not to far away, within walking distance. Couple blocks away from waterfront area. Bed was ok, couch to sit on was not very good. Room was roomy. Shower flow for hot water was not very good. There is a decent size outdoor sitting area. You will hear noise. I don't think I would stay here again.”

“For a hotel at the beach that i assume is used frequently, it was clean and welcoming. We stayed in a basic double bed room and it was as expected. Breakfast was a nice amenity that most places no longer offer.”

I stayed here even though the hotel was older - thinking I was saving — but the pet fee was so over the top. If you are looking for pet savings - this is not it. Other New Bern hotels are nicer and charge less. ”
