“I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels over the years working construction. This hotel was horrible, extremely dirty, just gross place. Definitely not worth the 100.00 dollars just because it's by a lake. Just avoid this place. Very dirty.”

“Loved the rich character and history of the hotel and city.”

“We had a great experience. We would definitely choose you again.”

“I stay at Hampton Inns a lot. I was very disappointed with this one. Breakfast was not good either morning (2 night stay) and to top it off, they had no regular cream for coffee this morning. That’s poor planning and not caring. Also, shower head was pointed towards the back wall and could not be adjusted away. You had to lean into the wall to get the water. Probably something you can deal with but the grab bar was right where the water came down. I know why they did it so that water would not...

“Clean”

“This was a great value for the money. The hotel was renovated and clean.”

“Very limited selection for breakfast”

“The complimentary breakfast served was great, a nice selection of food to select from. All of the staff were friendly, helpful & professional. However, on Saturday afternoon my friend had elected to stay in our hotel room & grab dinner at the hotel restaurant. But according to the desk was not available because of low census which is to say the least…is unexpected? My friend said there was someone who worked there & they provided transportation via the hotel shuttle to & from a local...

“They had an issue with their listing on Expedia. I had screenshot and everything. Expedia wouldn't refund me, because the hotel wouldn't. Unacceptable, when I had screenshot of the issue. Very unprofessional. Front desk employee was not helpful at all and very condescending. No help whatsoever. They are only after your money. I should dispute the charge. I will NEVER book through a 3rd party. Will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER HOLIDAY INN. Wish I could give 0 stars. Do yourself a favor and stay,...
