Top Morris Island Hotel Reviews

Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel

8/10 Good

"The hotel itself is older and the price does not compare well for off season, but overall, it was a nice visit."

The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

8/10 Good

"We visited in October. It was a lovely weekend and really got to enjoy the pool and outside area. From check in to check out however the staff was not helpful. We seemed to be bothering the front desk at both check in and check out and both times were approached with “Yeah?” Rather than a simple “How can I help you?” Or maybe even “Hello” Bar staff also did not give us any warm feelings and acted as though we were bothering them by asking for a beverage. The Fish House was very busy the morning we went for breakfast and seemed to look through us as we waited to be seated, ordered or asked for the check. Otherwise, great location. We loved the bikes, the shuttle and the robes."

The Vendue

8/10 Good

"Wonderful location and excellent staff. Funky, artsy and quirky. No front desk, but always someone up front with a laptop. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was roomy. Loved the shower. Toilet paper was sub-standard for an upscale hotel. Breakfast croissants and fruit (exactly the same every day) arrived on the doorhandle at 6 am, often without a napkin. Street noise was significant if you are a light sleeper. Valet parking was an added $49/day and the app for calling your vehicle was not efficient. Never took the daily art tour. Never got to the rooftop bar/grill because they had some problems with equipment. Starbucks and market within walking distance. Some good restaurants also within walking distance. All in all, a very good experience."
