"The whole experience was wonderful. The location of the property is very close to the train and bus station.The walk streets are very close as well. The staff is fantastic , knowledgeable and very kind. Foid was delicious. We stayed 3 nights and wished we could stay more. We will be back:)"

"A great, centrally located hotel was super facilities. Warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Only complaint is with Expedia who advertise room as 3 bed sleeping 6 yet there are only 2 beds! We had booked for 2 adults and 3 children and so reception suggested that the children (13,11,11) sleep together in a snug double, Staff were very helpful, switched rooms around and said they would contact Expedia."

"Amazing modern hotel - very close to Takayama station. The mixed thermal baths on the top floor had great views - it was so lovely to be able to use them as you had to wear swimsuits. If you wanted to bathe naked then there were single sex baths you could use."

"A perfect stay for our family after hiking at Kamikochi. The staff were extremely helpful both beforehand (prompt and detailed messages regarding how to reach there, our dietary needs, etc.) and during our stay. We are vegetarian and they went above and beyond in making our meals special. I honestly don’t even know how to describe how delicious and carefully prepared and served both the dinner and breakfast were. The location is stunning and the Onsen was wonderful. A stay we will never forget!"

"We enjoyed our three nights stay. It is right in the center of the old town, you can walk everywhere. The staff in the hotel are super nice and helpful. We have three mornings Japanese breakfast, amazing experience!"

"We had a great stay on our mother daughter trip to Takayama. The location was perfect for getting around on foot close to many great landmarks. Our room had a beautiful view and was one of the biggest rooms we stayed in on our Japan trip. The onsen was a treat and the breakfast staff and front desk were so helpful and very kind. We loved our stay!"
