Top Northern Lower Peninsula Hotel Reviews
Breakers Resort & Beach Bar
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Breakers! Staff were so friendly and there is an amazing sunrise view. Good breakfast and a free shuttle to the Mackinac ferry."
Blossom Hotel & Suites Traverse City
8/10 Good
"It was a nice place to stay. Very cleanly. Nice to have a pool and hot tub to take a dip. My least favorite part of Traverse City is the walkability though. Just drive 3 minutes, get in your car, and drive again. You will lose so much time trying to walk around this unwalkable beach town."
Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront Mackinaw City
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and comfortable room. The view of the lake was amazing."
Waterfront Inn - Mackinaw City
10/10 Excellent
"If you have ever wondered what staying in Mackinaw City in the early to mid 90s, look no further. This hotel will answer all these questions. The hotel itself seemed to be in need of a little sprucing up, but it was clean. The room itself was large and spacious. The staff was nice. The area was quiet, aside from a bit of noise from passing traffic. The bathroom was large and spacious, which I feel like is rare in hotel bathrooms. Lovers of the 90s will love the decor. From the carpet to the comforters, from the furniture to the colorful bathroom, it was definitely a room my grandmother would have loved and booked for us in 1993. The room itself was great, all joking aside. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but the room itself was awesome. If you need a place to stay during your vacation, this would be a decent place to stay. It is outside the main downtown area and is a charming place. It is away from all the traffic and noise of downtown, but easy access to head south to Cheboygan or other places nearby."
Grand Beach Resort Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The property, parking lot and beach area was clean and properly picked up of debris. The front desk staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The hotel provides a choice of breakfast boxes in the morning. The hotel is not a luxury hotel, the hotel is really nice for what it offered."

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Traverse City, MI
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and sufficient. Beds ok. Some crinkley sounding pad under the sheet. Wasn’t bad though."
