Only a few rooms in the hotel have been renovated to look like the pictures, mine was not, looked like it was renovated in 1970, but it was clean, no mold, no bugs. Bed was firm but comfortable, smart tv and good A/C. Big issue for me was no mini fridge. Ivan the manager was awesome, very helpful and kind. Come to party or bring earplugs, the nightclub next door gets going around 1130pm and runs until...
"Definitely great for the price. Loved the two pools (although I didn't have time for them with frequent activities). Only 3 blocks away from 5th Avenue (Quintana Avenida). There were great restaurants nearby. Very clean. Loved seeing the Mayan culture on the walls. A more traditional and lovely hotel."

"For this hotel to be an adult only there should be more adult life. The bar should not close at 11pm with a 10:30 10:45 last call depending the bartender. It should stay open to at less 1am. "

"We had an extraordinary 10 days at the La Pasion its location was perfect across the street from town square. Venders of crafts and food filled it Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings. A few blocks from the craziness of 5th so it was tame comparatively. Walmart is a couple blocks away. We only ate breakfast one day and it was fine. Parking was secured we had a few days we did not drive. They cleaned and changed towels daily and bed linens every 3rd day. The front desk staff was proficient. The elevator works but we never took it. We kept the air-conditioning on at all times and it kept the room cool.
We got an extraordinary good deal with the flight. I had no regrets."

Pool / rooftop was bit of a letdown. Pool needs maintenance and there is no shade over pool or lounges so way too hot to hang out for more than a few minutes.
Would recommend if just want a room and don’t need a pool or breakfast. "
