"The lobby coffee station was great, tasted amazing and a real treat. The lobby decor was fun and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked. The check-in goody bag was a nice touch. The room was spacious and always smelled fresh upon entry. The bathroom needed a few cosmetic improvements. There was laminate wall peeling up; you have to do a full body twist to reach back and grab toilet paper while on the toilet - recommend installing the holder in front of the toilet versus completely behind it; and the bath vanity lighting was super small, put off poor lighting, brighter bathroom lighting is always a plus. Enjoyed the new closet style shower layout; however, the open concept removes the ability to drape wet towels, washcloths or bathing suits, so we got creative. Overall, a nice stay for the price! Keep pressing on Gateway!!"

"The room was very clean, the staff was very pleasant and super helpful. They offered snacks and drinks. Always asked us if we needed anything everyday. The parking was very easy and convenient. Air conditioner worked perfectly even though it was so cold we didn't need it. This Madison beach Motel is really a gem. It's located in a perfect spot ocean block so close to the boardwalk but far enough away for it to still be quiet in the evening."
