โLovely place, very comfortable, clean, quiet. Beautiful views. Watch rabbits, hares, pheasants etc crossing the garden while you have breakfast.
Stayed on business as an alternative to hotels and pub food. Great location for walking and cycling.โ
โMy meal on Sunday evening was the best Iโve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didnโt know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area.
The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didnโt use them as Iโd used a gym in the city prior to arrival. The restaurant area had a nice feel to it even...

โWe had a great stay overall. Parking was a bit tricky to find initially (go past the pub then turn left) but reception told me where to park. Comfortable room with all amenities provided to cook. Wasnโt absolutely spotless but it was clean enough. Friendly and helpful staff and the phone passes were a faff but it worked out well in the end. Option to get cards so thatโs nice. Overall very comfy and would happily stay again, especially if it was cheaper.โ
