Hotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie - All Inclusive

"Room was great, couldn’t complain. Understanding it is currently a heatwave AC will struggle and only place to cool down was lobby. Would have been great if pool times were extended due to heat. Activities - didn’t really see anything apart from water volleyball nor was I once approached and asked if I’d like to join. Been told that due the heat, only water sports and stretching is happening. Staff were excellent through out the stay! On to the hotel food - breakfast, lunch, snacks were fine as expected, evening meal - only had it on 3 nights. Main restaurant was excellent, really enjoyed it. Booked Italian and Moroccan and was under impression if you book it is Al acarte, I was wrong, buffet. Moroccan “restaurant”/buffet meal was lovely, where’s Italian was a disappointment, had to go to main restaurant afterwards. Overall it was good place to stay, but I confirmed once again that all inclusive is not for me, maybe if it were not as hot and activities were actually happening, I might of enjoyed it more, just could not sleep by the pool for 10h a day."

"Hotel was good overall. Pools are great. Rooms are acceptable, but the water pressure/temperature varies in the shower. Food is not very well labelled for those who have dietary requirements. Limited selection of beers/wines in the bars."

"Un véritable havre de paix. La résidence est magnifique, paisible et très bien entretenue. Les jardins sont sublimes. Notre premier réveil a été une véritable déconnexion. Le petit-déjeuner, copieux, au bord de la piscine, dans une ambiance dépaysante et un cadre luxuriant : fabuleux. La visite de nos amis les chats, de quelques lézards et le chant des oiseaux sont un véritable plus. Ils apportent une douce animation et de la vie dans ce cadre si paisible. (Prenez soin d'eux, ils le méritent! Le Maroc a une vision de la cause animale qui ne me sied pas). Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir profiter de la piscine seuls à plusieurs reprises : quel bonheur ! Les chambres sont idéalement situées au centre de la résidence. Elles sont spacieuses et décorées avec soin, dans un subtil mélange de modernité alliée à la pure tradition marocaine. En réservant, j'espérais tomber sur la chambre "Blue", dont la décoration semblait me plaire le plus, et par chance, ce fut le cas. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe, qui a été réactive, professionnelle et attentionnée tout au long du séjour. Le service de sécurité est poli et discret. Merci à SOFIA, souriante, discrète et d'une grande bienveillance. Merci à NAJAT, une perle rare, passionnée par la cause animale (comme nous), d'une extrême gentillesse. Massages et soins réalisés avec professionnalisme. Notre coup de coeur ! Nous retournerons au Dar Lamia avec grand plaisir, en espérant retrouver tous nos amis les chats."

"Best stay we have had so far on all our visits to Marrakesh over the years. The complex is surrounded by the most beautiful well kept lush gardens which added to the whole relaxed feel of the hotel. Of course it’s remote, but most are, however I feel that’s better so you can dip in and out of the busy sights and Medinas if you want and free shuttle anyway or cheap taxis all day. I had decided not to return to Morocco a couple of years ago but Barcelo has completely changed our minds and will 100% return. Staff amazing, and not in your face in restaurants or mither, like some other hotels. Room adequate size and spotless. Choice of quiet pool and slightly busier one with more than enough beds all day. Thank you and see you next year."

"What not to like at Les Deux Tours? In my opinion this is the best hotel in Marrakech. Top top top, Top customer service, Top cleanliness, Top design, Top atmosphere… Les Deux Tours is like heaven on earth."

"Just home following my second trip to this hotel, the first virus with my husband an the second as a girls trip. The hotel is in a stunning setting within lovely lush gardens. We particularly liked the zen pool where we could read and chill. One of the main reasons we returned (I’ve never returned to a hotel ever) was the quality of the food which is first class, every meal has a wide selection and to a really high standard. The block our room was in this time was a little more tired than our first visit and there were a few niggles, mostly minor points - gym doesn’t open top 9am in the middle of breakfast service so no workout before breakfast, no signage at zen pool meant it there was a lot more noise with adults all drinking in the pool (without lifeguard intervention) and there were structural improvements taking place which is great to see but difficult to relax in with drills going constantly… and no signage / prior warning before booking that this was taking place. I would return again for a stay but would check out the above points first. It really is a fabulous hotel."
