“Place is run down. Every year is worst. Ice machine not working, areas are unkept, overall poor maintenance”

“We stopped at Ragged Edge on our way home from Key West. It’s a hidden gem for boaters! Several slips for boats, good dock, nice pool, and plenty of parking. There are several small buildings housing the rooms. We were in building 2, which I believe has 6 rooms. The room was big, clean, and fully equipped with a stove and refrigerator, cabinets, etc. The view of the Atlantic was very nice. “Beautiful locale for sure but that’s about it. The facilities were minimal especially by comparison to the neighboring properties. Yes, the rooms have been recently renovated & at 1st glance appear nice, however, the execution was piss-poor (large gaps where materials aren’t attached correctly & really really cheap furniture & crappy plumbing — lousy water pressure — even for the FL Keys). Nice enough place if your friends or family are staying at the other places nearby.”
