"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Nice hotel, reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel in general was a little tired around the edges but it was clean and had soft towels! We were in room 9 with a sea view which was much like the sea view in Fawlty Towers but we weren’t there to specifically stare out of the window… and the tv needed switched on and off at the wall because the power button on the remote doesn’t work. Doesn’t sound like much of an issue other than the plug is about 7’ high and I’m only 5’ Breakfast was good!"

"The property is mixed bunkhouse and other room types. We booked the suite which was very roomy and comfortable. The vibe is very relaxed with a bit of a backpacker feeling. There is a friendly bar and the breakfast was a combo of self serve and custom breakfast. Staff were super friendly and accompanied. It is close to lots of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would go back."

"A one night stay to allow my son and I to stay over after climbing Snowdon. Perfectly located, a premium was paid because of this. A simple twin bedded room in the coach house, ideal for our needs. A bath was appreciated, bubble bath would have been a nice touch. Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. This was consistent throughout the hotel, especially the young man serving in the bar in the evening and also a waitress at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was self service and substantial. Highly recommended. An all round excellent stay, £166, breakfast included and free parking."
