“The hotel was lovely, it reminded us of a national trust property and the stained glass and the views over the coastline were amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room had a four poster bed in an actual turret and beautiful views of the coast out of both large windows. The breakfast had buffet options and the food itself was very good quality. Highly recommended.”

It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. ”

“We stayed in the family apartment which was a bedroom downstairs, a bedroom upstairs, a bathroom with shower and we had a small corner kitchen that had everything you could need. In a beautiful area, so quiet and peaceful, loved the scenery. Great communication off the owners and a warm welcome. Would recommend and would stay again”

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”
