"We really liked the Shangri-La. Loved the spacious lobby and the room. The view of the Marina and the water as well as the mountains was spectacular. It is very close to the reef excursion pier making it easy to get on your ferry to Green Island or the Outer Reef. The Staff, especially Nao knocked them selves out to assist us. If we return to Cairns we would book this hotel in a flash."

"The apartments were ideal location for attending a conference at the conference centre, and also for walking all over town. I arrived in Cairns well before checkin time and they held my suitcase, and text when the room was ready. I would stay here again but I would make sure to spend a bit more and get an upper floor."

"Great view but quite a long way from Cairns downtown where all the boats are moored. There is a shuttle bus but it runs just 2 times a day"

"Advertised as sound proof room, it definitely wasn’t I could hear people next door dragging their chairs as well as cars outside . Aircon needs updating so load when running and also the fans need replacing for the same reason . Bathroom very small and needs updating."
