“I do not recommend this Motor lodge. Our first room was disgusting. The chair in the room was filthy. I asked to cancel the room but since I did the reservation thru Expedia they couldn't cancel. They did give us better room but it was still not great. There is a dehumidifier in the room that fills up daily and causes the room to smell like pee. I tried to cancel they Expedia but I was told the management from the motor lodge denied it. We ended up leaving a day early because I just couldn't...

“It was so clean and bright inside! It made me feel happy even though it was rainy outside and a bit gloomy. Loved the attached restaurant with the amazing pizza! I walked just 13 minutes to get to downtown Manteo and that was a lovely walk. Close to sights like the aquarium and Festival Park. Staff was super helpful too!”

“Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! “It was perfect for a one-night stay. The room was spacious, beds comfortable, kitchenette practical, and the access to the beach was great- private and through a separate back door. There were some used (? cleaning) towels over the trash can in the kitchen area. Would go back again.”
