Jo&Joe Roma
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (33)
"Affordable, spacious, quiet, clean and beautifully designed, I would recommend it to anyone! I am not a big fan of hostels as some people tend to be noisy and not respectful but that wasn't the case there and I slept like a baby during my 4 nights there! And the courtyard was really the cherry on the cake."

"Close to metro with 24hr check in. Comfortable bed and reception/breakfast area looked nice- but didnt stay long enough to experience. Cash deposit upon arrival unexpected. Arrived late and was brought to room in a building across from street. In the morning went to leave and exited a wrong door in hallway and became completely locked in the building next door- all doors locked to get out and door to get back in also locked. Feared missing my flight. Banged on doors. A lady from a door which...

"This must be one of the worst hostels I've ever been. Also, there was an issue with my booking (I let you guys judge who's right or wrong). Details at the end (long story). Pros: friendly staff (except the manager), good location (next to metro, and supermarket), and in the quiet neighbourhood. Cons: shower: doesn't work and broken. I stayed in two rooms and both have some issues. Noisy: the manager kept checking people in after midnight, in and out of the room several times. Room: no ladder...

Palladini Hostel Rome
7.0 out of 10, Good, (26)
"This place is absolutely disgusting. It’s falling apart, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The bathroom is a room with a few showers that is shared by the entire floor, it was so dirty, wet and gross that I didn’t even want to step in it. I was placed in a room with other 4 big men and the vibe in the entire place was just shady. At night it was impossible to sleep, you can hear every little thing from the entire property. The bed and pillow are just plain horrible, the “lamp” was just a hanging...

"Clim très bruyante (donc mise en off par moi) parties communes d'accès aux chambres, laissant a désirer... (photos fenêtre sur parking et l'escalier avec sa cascade d'eau!!! ) Petite SdB correcte, malgré le manque d'eau chaude et le peu de pression de la douche... Très belle vue sur le parking clos. "

New Generation Hostel Rome Center
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (79)
"The hostel is okay, if you just want to sleep it is a great option. Kitchen facilities are pretty awful, literally two forks, zero glasses, and nothing to be able to cook. For me the worst issue is by far there are only bathrooms in the rooms. So if you are drinking in the common areas and need to use the restroom, you can only go to your room, and if someone is showering, you might not be able to pee for 30 minutes. Which honestly is pretty awful for a hostel not to have a backup for. Staff...

Hostel Melting Pot Rome
7.2 out of 10, Good, (46)
"Staff at check-in was quite disinterested and did not provide any information about the property or local area. Security is quite poor, door to the room did not lock and no lockers available for personal belongings (apparently this is being renovated). Reception staff offered to store any valuables, but I discovered afterwards that the "safe storage area" was a completely open room where anybody had access. Nonetheless, property was quite clean. Would be a reasonable option for budget travellers...

Wiki Hostel & Greenvillage
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (17)
"The amazing staff absolutely makes the wiki experience awesome. I wanted to get out of the hustle of Rome and it was a nice little getaway. A few drawbacks. Wifi is spotty and our room had a pretty sticky door with the adjacent bathroom being equally loud so hard to come in and out unnoticed. Another thing for me which is unusual for a hostel is no outside liquor. I wouldn’t choose it again for that reason alone. I don’t like to be forced into higher prices and limited selection when I’m...
