“Lovely comfortable clean room, very helpful staff. There was no air conditioning and we couldn’t open the windows and we stayed during a heatwave so the room was very hot. Next time probably wouldn’t pay for breakfast as there are lots of excellent cafes close by”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge 2 was perfect for our needs as we were staying for a wedding and needed space with a kitchen for 6 days which was helpful with saving time and money. We could dine in when needed. Coming from the US, the amenities and hot water switches take some getting used to, but we figured it out! Thanks for a lovely stay.”

“I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. ”

“Fantastic location right on the harbour, lots to see and do within walking distance. Located in a building separate to the main restaurant/bar, so no issue with any noise. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Note no parking and your best option is the Harbour arm carpark, which is £20 for 24hours. ”

“Beautiful bedrooms in quirky old wooden hotel. The food is very good, but the restaurant gets very noisy as it’s so full.”

“We booked The Relais Cooden beach via Expedia particularly for its location and spa facilities. We had booked the "Cosy double room" because that was all that was left. On arrival we tried to book spa treatments but there were no available bookings during our three night stay. This was disappointing as there was no mention on the Expedia website that you needed to book in advance. Apparently, guests who booked directly with the hotel enjoyed free use of the spa whereas booking through Expedia...

“Very poor. We paid for a deluxe triple room as it was cheaper than a standard double, when we arrived the gentleman told us we couldn’t have that room as it was under occupied and would have to have another room. The room was poor Avoid this place ”
