"The hotel was right on the heart of San Jose Del Cabo, walking distance to everything, cozy place to stay I love plants there were plants everywhere love the atmosphere The rooms are clean staff friendly parking is the only side down if you are not in the hotel early you might have to find parking on the street the gate is closed once the garage is full"

"Beautiful property. Picturesque. Above average food. Attentive service. Very much on the calm, quiet side, with only a few short events each night. Many standout staff but in particular: Adriana and Dulce the breakfast hostesses Jimena and Jackie at the coffee shop Edguardo and Maricruz @ Los Mares Alejandro & Jared - DJ/dance coach/activity planners. And a few other servers I wish I could remember the names of. You do have to get up early to get a great oceanfront seat, but there were always seats available somewhere by the pool. We ate lunch daily by the pool. Grilled fish tacos and ceviche were amazing. They had a shawarma taco day that was 10/10. Decent burgers. Good pizzas also. Dinner steaks at Pergola were amazing. Mexican (Vista Ballena dinner) fish dinners were delicious also, the seabass and red snapper. Red Velvet cake at the coffee shop. Iced coffees daily. Nice gym too."

"If you are looking for a very private quiet vacation, come here in May. I was treated like royalty. I reserved an oceanfront room. And was surprised to know that I had butler service. My Butler Armando, it was very attentive. Made reservations for me every night for dinner. Check the me throughout the day. And brought me anything I needed. The rest of the staff was very hospitable. My room was kept clean daily and my refrigerator was stocked. I was able to order room service if I didn't want to go out and eat.Every aspect of the service was amazing. So many food varieties, from french to mexican to japanese italian and habachi. It was all great I love that there is an adult pool with the swim up bar. I only gave 4 stars because on a couple of days there. This pool was not kept clean and one of the days a family came in with their children with pool toys we're not asked to go to the family pool. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean. Our AC didn’t work the first night and they sent maintenance to try and fix it but ultimately we needed to switch rooms. The food at the hotel restaurant was alright but not good, but there is plenty of great restaurants around the hotel. For the price it still was a good experience."

"It was such a terrible experience at Hyatt Ziva. We booked here because we had a great experience at Hyatt Ziva in Cancun. We stayed in the building two which was supposed to be the newer building. The room was not soundproofed. There’s a bar right across our room. Very loud at night until almost midnight. Early Morning you got kids upstairs running around making noises. The food was just ok but server had nasty attitudes."

"The hotel amenities are far more than what we expected. From the 5 different restaurants onsite to the massive pool overlooking the ocean, there is no reason to leave the resort. The resort also provides daily activities such as cooking classes or a mixology class for those who want to make that perfect cocktail! Overall our experience has been memorable. We highly recommend the resort."
