"Nice hotel with a beautiful backdrop in a quiet local neighborhood. The hotel is gated, so it feels safe, and there is plenty of parking. The staff was wonferful - always willing to help any way they could, however the desk is not staffed 24/7, so getting a hold of someone wasnt always possible. The room was spacious and well stocked, however not the most updated/new (coffee maker leaked water, microwave door stuck, ice cune tray was broken, sliding glass door to patio was very hard to open)....

"My fiancé and I stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights and would recommend Casa do Contador to anyone traveling to Sao Miguel Island! Centrally located, fantastic dining options, breakfast brought to the door every morning, and fantastic service and communication from the staff! 10/10!"
