โDont be put off by the 1970s front of this hotel it is fantastic, location is everything for this hotel.
on arrival we were checked in without any issues, found our room although on the small side it was was we booked, superking bed was clean the room in general was spotless (28) and we had a seaview. Bathroom was clean, all in all a great hotel.
Only problem we had was our window wouldn't open and parking was a bit of an issue.โ
โNice and roomie, plenty of space, very clean. Easy check in and check out. Very comfortable place to stay. Nice and easy walking distance to a shop and a restaurant. Super easy parking right outside the room door. Beautiful area to visit. โ
โStunning views over the loch and surrounding hills.
A lovely welcome from Ann on reception.
Food and service were excellent.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable (a lighter duvet would have been a bonus as the room was very warm and that was with the heating off and windows open).
If you fancy climbing a Munro, Schiehallion is about 15 minutes from the hotel to the car park.
Can't fault it and would stay again.
Thank you.โ
โFood in bar was ok , not great but edible ,breakfast was terrible , from the awful orange juice , to the flasked coffee , to possibly the worst sausage I have ever tasted โ
โWell located for walking out to amenities. Comfy room. Wasn't aware no restaurant for dinner so last minute scrabble to find somewhere. Big breakfast with lots of choice. Not impressed with mist like shower (head full of beads to reduce flow).โ
"โI stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didnโt find much value in the experience.โ"
