"1. Shower hot water was difficult to use. 2. Staff relatively unhelpful with early checkin. 3. Housecleaning poor with leaving door to adjacent room unlocked, trying to enter room to clean with little or no notice before 8am. 4. Difficult non-existent parking for checkin and guests. 5. Poor maps and directions for room and restaurant locations. 6. Poor locations for restaurant and bar resources. 7. Generally front desk staff not up to standard of a five star hotel."

"The pool was nice and the lounge area near coffee shop. Other than that, the property needs renovation. The grounds, the elevators and the rooms were not worth the price I paid for 2 nights. The food was mediocre at best and rooms were dirty and smelled of old. The beds were not comfortable. Will not go there again."

"The valet staff were excellent and friendly. The Zuzu not so much. And the happy hour drink offerings were sparse. The room was large, clean and well appointed. Housekeeping was also very attentive and friendly. Really appreciated the complimentary bottled water. We weren't sure.if the snacks were also complimentary because there was no info on that. Good value for a very elegant, quiet and modernized resort. I would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Incredibly disappointing service and severe pest issues — Will not return We chose The Boulders expecting a luxury experience, but unfortunately, the service and room quality fell completely short. Days before our arrival, I emailed the property to request an early check-in (offering to pay extra if needed) but never received a response. When we arrived early, we were told our room wasn't ready. We spent the next several hours checking in periodically—waiting at the lounge, then heading to the golf course restaurant for lunch—only to be repeatedly turned away. We weren't finally given our room until 4:00 PM. The real breakdown happened after we returned from dinner. We found a spider inside one of our towels, followed by more spiders on the furniture and sink, and bugs in the bed itself. In total, we had to kill 8 spiders, a moth, and another bug. When I called the front desk to request a room change due to the infestation, I was flatly told they couldn't accommodate us. For the price point and reputation of this resort, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and unhygienic room conditions are unacceptable. We will not be coming back."

"Checked in, got to my rm open the door to find large both dead and alive cockroaches all over the dresser in the shower. Went to office to get another rm, after he checked about 3 arms found a sufficient one, this used to be a great property, it appears someone purchased the property and can't afford to maintain it. I won't be back, I've stayed at this property half a dozen times in the past and always enjoyed it, now it's really declined."
