"We loved everything about this hotel. It has a great mid-century modern vibe. Rooms are well appointed and super clean. We had a King room that overlooked the pool with a private balcony with table and chairs and a chaise lounge. The staff is so friendly and kind everywhere you go on property. Zuzu's is great for an onsite restaurant and their bar serves great crafted cocktails.
Loved that it has two pools, one that is quiet and perfect for reading a book and the other has live dj's on the weekends, a bar and food. Close to everything in Old Town. We would definately stay here again."
"The property has a great Cuban vibe, subdued bet there if you want to key in on it. It is in a great location. You can tell the property is older, but it has been updated and has a great layout. We took advantage of the morning yoga on the lawn and enjoyed the pool during the day. The bar/lobby is very inviting and has games throughout. We found a nice table, had some drinks, and played some games in the evening. They also had a free shuttle to take you to places around Scottsdale or you could opt for the cute (and free)bicycles and ride around downtown. I would stay here again for sure!"
"Overall very overpriced. Gym was a joke compared to comparable hotels (I have seen better at airport hiltons). Food was OK but extremely overpriced. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries from room service and it was $60 with tip. I had to call and request my folio be sent to me 2 days after my check out because it never came to me. I could list my other items as well. Beautiful scenery but definitely not worth the price per night."
"Second stay here and a very nice hotel for the price. Have not used the pool yet but looks great.
Only complaint and it is a big one is housekeeping was way to loud starting at 8:30 or so. Way too loud with their talking outside the rooms and their carts really rumble on the second floor.
A hotel is a place to sleep and some people like to sleep in. They should be more mindful of that."
Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, Curio Collection by Hilton
4/10 Poor
"Property was beautiful and staff was great. My issue was that I am a light sleeper and about every 10-15 minutes the ceiling kept cracking (settling cracks), sometimes about 5 cracks at a time and loud. I did not sleep at all. Other than that property was very nice."
"We recommend this property. The two-room unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable; the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and tennis courts are well maintained; poolside bar and cafe were well managed (and good food). There are other things to do at the property like walking paths, golf greens, and lovely sitting areas. The spa was accommodating, well priced and the massages were oh, so good! The location of this resort is ideal; it is close to Fashion Square, Old Scottsdale and other food and beverage establishments; very easy to get around and close to Hwy 101."
