"The mid century modern vibe is so awesome. The rooms were clean and hip with great toiletries. The pool vibe was fun and refreshing. We loved the Valley Ho!"
"All good, annoying you have to show your room card to get into the hotel area when you’re hands are full, maybe put a table by the entrance so you don’t have to put your belongings on the floor to get your room key out of your pocket"
"Checked in, got to my rm open the door to find large both dead and alive cockroaches all over the dresser in the shower. Went to office to get another rm, after he checked about 3 arms found a sufficient one, this used to be a great property, it appears someone purchased the property and can't afford to maintain it. I won't be back, I've stayed at this property half a dozen times in the past and always enjoyed it, now it's really declined."
"I love the location of this property in downtown Scottsdale. It’s easily walkable to shopping and dining. I love the pool and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. I highly recommend having that to your room price. I stayed here several years ago and at that time was underwhelmed but this time I thought it was a very nice hotel, very clean, nice comfortable bed, pillow sheets, etc. we’re only there for one night but will definitely come again when we need a staycation away from the kids.
The staff was super nice and friendly as well. The check-in process was quick and easy and personable and they gave us free water bottles which you need in Arizona. Not that you can’t drink the water because of course you can drink the water anywhere but the chef at the buffet was very helpful and encouraging us to order extra items that weren’t already out. He would make things fresh for us. We sat and visited and ate breakfast for a good long while. Super nice and very affordable hotel."
"Check in went very smoothly, front desk people were helpful.
We hung out at the pool one afternoon, they had a few activities we joined in on that were fun. The room was clean and comfortable"
