"First morning the breakfast was not adequately replenished, and what was there was cold or stale. Second morning there was plentiful food, but some of the cooked food was still cold. That said, we would stay there again, it's just that the breakfast was lacking a little. "

"The room I stayed in felt boxy, but still nice and clean. My room view was of maintenance, so that was not so exciting to hear or see in the morning. Sadly I did not get to take advantage of the resort big lagoon pool or even see it, though I was charged a resort fee just for staying there. I was only here for one evening (much needed rest, which I got). Perhaps it would have been more enjoyed with a partner or kids. The breakfast at the bar was very nice and good quality and the bartender was very attentive."

"Breakfast was fine, some empty containers, but refilled. Check in was late at night. Hard to find desk and unattended. When finally received room was unable to get king bed as booked. But got bigger room, with small beds. Worked out ok. But not what was hoping based on reservation. Overall good location. Happy with amenities as advertised."

"I stayed at the talking sticks before, but this time was not so great. Me and my sister stayed Mother’s Day weekend. The room was clean, but the refrigerator did not work as well as there was a lipstick or makeup stain on one of the beds. Also, when we went down to the pool area, there was a dark ring around the pool and it got on my bikini top and destroyed it. The staff were amazing as always. Just wasn’t the experience that I’m used to from the talking sticks."

"The ladies at the front desk were amazing! Morning and night shift. The added shuttle service was great as well as proximity to sky train into the airport. My only concern is that with all the money they make, they have failed to upgrade the property. The rugs are old and dirty and the rooms can use some paint and deep cleaning and modern fixtures."
