โSuper friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they donโt. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!โ
โBeautiful property that makes visiting sissinghurst a breeze. Dinner options nearby are limited, but if you request the charcuterie plate it is perfect!โ
โWhat a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...
โWe wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and thatโs what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walksโฆ it was all there.โ
โWhat a find. This is a place in the country and only 10 min from Leeds Castle. The pub atmosphere is we loving and traditional - what you would hope for and expect of a pub. Cozy, updated menu with vegan options.
The rooms are in a separate annex. Quiet, modern but cute and stylish in the room I was in. All thatโs needed. Iโd recommend this place any day. โ
โHad a lovely stay, Rod the owner was very amiable and nothing was a problem ,breakfast was a delight too. Room spacious bathroom huge ! Would definitely return and recommend. WWโ
โA really lovely place to stay, a perfect quiet and very pretty little village. The pub owners and bar staff were very welcoming and made a wonderful breakfast, and we had dinner there one night too which was fab!โ
โOur room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing weโve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. A huge marvellous and stylish shower. Gardens, bars, reception and restaurants are all full of delights and...
โ10/10 for staff, room, food, gardens and grounds and of course Leeds Castle itself. Lovely to have free entry to Castle and able to access grounds after closing. Perfect, highly recommend and will come again.โ
โThe food was really good. Although no elevator the staff were super accommodating as my older mother was traveling with me and they carried bags to our room. The English hot tea was best we had in England. โ
โSaban and Belinda were great hosts. They were very accommodating and paused their laundry so i could do mine between the two different legs of my trip. I neeed to make sure i had enough clean laundry as i would not have access ta any laundry facilities for the next 12 days.
The room was nice, and perfect for a solo traveller.โ
โExcellent all round. Room was pleasant with very comfortable bed. Had evening meal and breakfast both of which were very good. Large open space nearby for dog walking. Staff very pleasant. Would recommend without hesitation.โ
โGreat place with loads of history and character. Nice host and staff. Lovely room but mind your head on the low beams.
Left too early for breakfast - host prepared a nice breakfast hamper for us.โ
