"The staff were genuinely pleasant, welcoming. The room itself was, clean, and comfortable… although sadly we seem to have been given what can only be described as “the broom cupboard suite.”
I half expected Gordon the Gopher and Philip Schofield to pop out from behind the kettle and ask if there was room for one more. To say it was cosy would be generous — opening the suitcase basically became the room’s main event.
That said, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel really did make up for the lack of space. A very enjoyable stay overall — just pack light unless you fancy sleeping standing up like Gordon in the cupboard!"
