The machine check-in /check out was a love and hate feeling, it was cool and check-in and check out took like a minute, but because there was no one and the front desk there was no one to ask to get info. The room was good, I will say it is a 8/10. We like that they had room service daily without a choice whether you want it or not, and they were quick in and out of the room but got things done. The reason I took 2 points out was that the room was always musty without the AC, and there were some molds in the bathroom wall. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.

The room was clean and nice, it had everything I needed. I was able to check in early when I came at 2pm Even though their check in time is 5pm. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for us to get everywhere we wanted to go, close to the Taipei Main Station which really great.

If you're visiting the National Palace Museum in Taipei be sure to make the short trip over to the Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence. It's the palace and grounds of the former leader of Taiwan that is now open to the public. You'll lose yourself in the beautiful gardens and be amazed at the floral creations like this larger-than-life piano.

Entrance to the grounds and gardens is free but there is a small charge to visit the presidential residence itself.
