"There is actually ac at this hotel which is not advertised. It’s also walkable from the railway station. We took uber from the train station to the hotel. It’s only cost us 8 pounds. We could have walked to the hotel if we knew it’s only 400 meters away. It’s literally just around the corner if you know the way. However, The road to the cruise ship on the other hand was harder and not well signed. We missed a few turns but eventually got to the ship in an hour!!! We found that there’s no use asking for directions in Southampton. People don’t seem to know the place very well even the receptionist at the hotel…they just tell you to get a taxi. We probably could have done so to save time and our insanity!!! Good that we didn’t miss our ship 👏👏👏nice hotel next to shops, historic buildings, waterfront, restaurants and train stations. Would like to go back. Southampton has lots to see. One day is not enough…"
