"Very convenient and walkable to downtown, and the beach is a short 10 minute drive over the bridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable; the room was extremely bright and could have have used light blocking shades. The room also needed more places to put your items such as night stands and more small tables. Also full size towels would have been a nice touch. "A very cozy B&B with great staff and wonderful amenities. The afternoon social hour with appetizers is a very nice touch to include a lovely pastry for later in the evening. While located in the historic district you are not in center thus avoiding some of the late-night live entertainment that could interfere with your sleep. Our car stayed parked during our entire stay."

I was in an upstairs room in a separate building & it was a bit warm for sleeping. It had a ceiling fan that helped but still was too warm for me."

"Beautiful B&B on the Matanzas River just south of the historic district of St Augustine. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and historic sites. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. In the afternoon there was a nice happy hour. We sat on the porch overlooking the water with our wine and delicious appetizers. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was courteous and helpful. Highly recommended."

"The resort is well laid out but is showing signs of wear and tear. The hot tub didn’t work until the last day of our week there. They have played Jenna with other features. They used to have a high end coffee and hot drink machine. That has been replaced with a cheaper and more basic one, with fewer options. Less staff available and the main building closed overnight. "The property is very nice and overall well-maintained. Just a few minor details keep me from giving 5 stars. 1. Access directions are accurate but could be made better by explaining how to get the gate key first (it’s kept off-site) and then how to get in the room 2) Basic supplies given are minimal at best. One roll of toilet paper for each bathroom is just not enough. Also only one trash bag given and absolutely no simple condiments like salt and pepper. These are items you shouldn’t have to...
