I logged complaints with both Expedia and Sykes Cottages about the false advertising of the payment schedule...

The people nothing but warm and welcoming. The stay at uno carbis bay was mega , I want to say a massive thank you to the owners with there apartments etc the room was beautiful, everything we needed and more and made our break even that little bit more special . "Positives: The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were immaculate. The shower was a great temperature, albeit on the small size. The view of the bay from my balcony was unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never woken to a better view. The staff were friendly and my luggage was carried to my room. The check in and check out was fuss-free. I believe there is parking available, though I used the long-stay carpark, just opposite. Negatives: the rooms are VERY dated and in need of a LOT of TLC. If you can look beyond this, the hotel is a fantastic place to stay for a reasonable rate. Especially for St Ives. It would be good to see the place brought back to life with a lick of paint."

"Lovely and clean apartment with sweeping views across Carbis Bay. The apartment is on a bus route into St Ives and the train station is about a 8-10 min walk. There is a Tesco Superstore up the road The apartment is bright and airy, spotless. There is a lovely vegan restaurant downstairs which was packed! Would highly recommend this apartment"
