โThe George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests:

โIt is an old hotel (antique in fact giving itโs been operating for 800 years), so no wall are straight, floors are uneven, hallways are narrow, and there is no elevator. But the conditions are ell kept, and the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there againโ

โThis is a great place to stay. The rooms were motel style so open the door straight outside which was perfect as we had our 5month puppy with us. Dog friendly too, could take her into the pub. On arrival, in our room was a dog bed, two dog bowls, dog towel and a doggy welcome pack - great touch. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. โReally enjoyed our stay at The Three Swans. Stand out staff definitely Chloe, Zoe and Ivan while the other staff were all very pleasant also.
Our room was a good size and perfect for our stay, food was very good and reasonably priced. Hungerford is a lovely place with plenty antique shops to browse through and plenty food places to enjoy. Loved my walks along the canal meeting lovely local people to chat with. Would definitely stay here again when next have the opportunity to visit. โ

Nice menu with a variety of options all prepared and presented extremely well.
Nice room, but did have to ask for a change of sheets after 6 days. Would also have liked a grab bar in the shower. My wife and I are seniors and were nervous about slipping. However, have to say the shower was the easiest to use of any hotel we have stayed in.
