“Was fairly cheap compared to nearby hotels with a pub next door and a petrol station/shop nearby. It's an ex-premier inn and was comfortable enough. The bathroom was a bit on the grotty side. The grab and go breakfast was a shambles. I ordered it to the room on Monday for 0730 and it came at 0715, Wednesday it was ordered for 0720 and it came at 0650 and the coffee was a mocha instead of what I asked for, each time I was woken up before my alarm, not happy at all. “Friendly staff, had a real country pub feel but in town. Food was really good. Will definitely stay again, thank you”

“The Mitre is a great old hotel, with loads of character. The location is fantastic for all amenities and the staff are very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Great stay with a great host. Thanks for having us.”

“Clean room, great location, good breakfast”

“Very pleasant place to stay.”

“Always nice staying here, great value, parking, friendly staff. It's the perfect place to stay for business trips.”

“Located in a very picturesque high point on Richmond Hill. Hotel itself is a bit old and the passages are narrow but has old world charm and very English. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is first rate.”

“The room was spacious, and the mattress comfortable. The room was freezing cold, and I didn't get to speak with anyone to get heating. The duvet is very thin, so it was a cold stay. Also the shower wasn't great. Good water pressure mostly, but it did drop so the shower was more of a trickle than a shower. Plus, the shower wasn't all that clean- dusty and water marked.”
