"The room was clean, especially the bed , it was comfy. We love the pools, well maintained. The staff was excellent, especially Sonam P, at the front desk, breakfast was amazing. We had a wonderful time."

"Had a great stay at this hotel! Hotel was very clean and well kept. Rooms were very small but we didn't spend much time in the room so that was ok. Buffet breakfast was delicious and a nice perk! Location is central to a lot of things and made it easy to get around. No parking on site but nearby parking garage made it a quick walk. Definitely recommend and will be back in the future!"

"I didn't use the hotel for anything more than my room to be honest. It's difficult for me to speak on the amenities. I feel like I must've been next to the pool or a gym or something because it was really loud on occasion with people yelling. I didn't complain. And the loud noise has stopped before bedtime. Room was just fine, and no complaints at all about it. For the price, and to be able to stay downtown, close to everything, I couldn't help but give it a high rating."

"This Labour Day long weekend stood out. First time at the Royal York that I had a room with little to no noise from neighbours or in hallways. Quick and friendly housekeeping staff and everyone was very responsive despite several weddings and lots of people in the hotel. Hotel is well situated for walking to most attractions or using TTC or GO transit. Great access to amenities in Union Station (coffee, food, shops)."
