The hotel is in the middle of nowhereโno restaurants, no stores, nothing. The only food available was the hotelโs limited breakfast and lunch options. Getting there cost me 1,000 pesos in taxi fare because the roads were pitch-black, unsafe, and impossible to walk. Outside, it was a construction zoneโdust, noise, and chaos everywhere. Morning, I was woken up by loud construction sounds, making it impossible to rest.
The room was freezing, with only a thin quilt and no comforter. I asked for one, but no one was at the front desk at night, and by morning, they simply told me that comforters werenโt provided. It was unacceptable. I couldnโt sleep, woke up sick from the cold, and endured endless noise.
After seeing the poor environment, the construction dust, and the constant noise, I was immediately concerned for my health and wanted to leave before even checking in. The hotel initially agreed to refund me but later refused. Left with no choice, I stayed one miserable night and left first thing the next morning.
As a female traveler, the area was terrifyingโcompletely deserted, with no shops, no restaurants, and no delivery services. After dark, I was trapped in the hotel, hungry and scared.
This was supposed to be a vacation, but it felt like punishment. Freezing cold, noisy, unsafe, and completely isolatedโthis was the worst hotel experience Iโve ever had. Absolutely appalling.
