“The room was a generous size, bed comfortable, bathroom perfect. The pub is set in a lovely location and we were able to enjoy the beer garden. The food was also good. We hope to stay again.”

“We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again.”

“The reception area had a dirty floor and we were disappointed with the reception toilet. The room was so small it was impossible to turn around, not to mention that the outdoor area where the rooms are located is full of cobwebs. The breakfast lacked variety. The only things worth mentioning are the clean bath towels and the very good shower. I do not recommend it.”

“Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen.
