"I stayed here for 4 nights, the place was relatively clean but you could tell it is an older building. My main problem was that I had no washcloths for 2 nights and when I asked for them on both nights I was told that there would be some there in the morning once the delivery came and they never arrived in the downstairs common area where they keep the linens for the guest to pick from. I had to go to the Walgreens down the street to purchase a loofa to take a decent shower. "

"Overall: You’re getting what you pay (or I guess don’t pay) for. It’s a cheap hotel. Hotel: Rougher part of the city, but close to some fast food restaurants and a subway entrance so it made getting into Manhattan easy. Staff: Checking in and out was quick, but I didn’t interact with them outside of that other than once right after checking in. Room: Smaller than I had expected. It was on the first floor, so I could hear everything from the lobby. The window looked into a creepy back alley, so I left the blinds shut the entire time. Mattress was wrapped in plastic underneath the fitted sheet, and there were just two pillows, a sheet, and a thin fleece blanket with a hole in it on top of the bed. My lamp had no light bulbs, and when I asked the staff, they said they have no extras and no housekeeper. Bathroom: Basic, basic amenities (hair dryer and towels). No shower soaps. The hand soap in my bathroom was already opened, so I didn’t use it for my entire stay. They had given me fresh towels on my third day and one of them had a hole in it."
