โI stayed here years back, but didn't recognize it when I arrived last Monday night. The whole hotel has been renovated. It's very nice. The service was great, especially Lavida (sp?) at check-in. We enjoyed the free breakfast too. โ
โThe hotel was very clean. Itโs right next to the train, but we couldnโt hear it from our room. There wasnโt a mini fridge or microwave in the room, but there was a microwave in the lobby. โ
โGreat location for a visit to family. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. My room was small, but really just right for a visit, good storage and lighting. Very close to the railroad tracks, but I never heard a thing. The restaurant was opening the day after I left so I canโt comment but I did see the space and itโs just beautiful. The restaurant still managed to serve breakfast and that worked out just fine. I strongly recommend Voco Astoria. โ
โVery close to Tangram mall and all the restaurants around Flushing. I walked everywhere. The staff was very nice explained everything. $100 deposit that got returned back to my card right after checkout. I was able to leave my bags after check out and they will give you a ticket to hold on to to retrieve your bags. No public bathroom in lobby just a heads up. The room itself was a little more spacious than the average flushing hotel room. Not luxury or modern but it was perfectly fine for me....
โExtremely noisy air conditioning unit. Starts with a massive thud and stops with sounds of water dripping through the pipes. Kept us awake all night.โ
