“So - The Pierpont was established in 1910, needless to say, the place is old. Having said that ... it's still a great place to stay. The reception gal was kind, quick to check us in, and helpful. We stayed in the KING SUITE with a great ocean view in the bedroom and the main room. A balcony would have been the cherry on top, but there isn't one. A sliding glass window/screen door would have been nice as well, but no such luck. The windows don't open, so you're at the mercy of the AC for airflow....

“None of the pictures on their website match the room or any other room for that matter. Shower drain still had hair in it from previous. I accidentally caught the bed sheet with my foot getting out of bed a the bed pad had blood all over it as if someone had been stabbed. Flys in the room. The mini fridge was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The dresser had no doors or drawers, just open shelving. After the blood incident I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.”
