B&B in Virginia

Excellent place

The Inn at Warner Hall is a fantastically restored piece of history. The inn is in great condition and beautifully done. The property grounds look great and includes a 1-mile walking path with river views. The friendly staff and great breakfast only add to a wonderful stay.

We stayed for our honeymoon before embarking on our cruise to Bermuda out of Norfolk. The port was very close to the Inn. The Inn is beautiful and so romantic. The area around the Inn had several options for dining. The walkable area was so romantic with its old architecture and cobblestone streets. I would love to come and stay longer and experience their restaurants and the city of Norfolk. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone wanting a place that is not a big box type hotel. If...

I chose this place based upon the pictures and reviews. Upon pulling up to the house, a huge rainbow flag was festooned over the entrance. There was also rainbow (LGBT pride) items in the kitchen. The website makes no mention, at least that I saw, that it is an LGBT owned/friendly place, nor did any of the pictures show the flags, etc. I don't mind what people do in the privacy of their own home, but running a B&B & pushing your sexuality on guests who may or may not approve is very...

Our stay at Steeles Tavern Manor B & B was amazing! Every detail was meticulously thought out to make our stay the most wonderful time we have ever had! I would not hesitate to fully recommend this B & B to anyone. All kinds of wonderful places to explore in the area. The food was incredible. Ray and Melissa were perfect hosts. If you're ever in the Roanoke area, this is THE place to stay. Beautiful log home, just off the Blue Ridge Pkwy., converted in to a B&B with large private rooms. Gorgeous setting and very quiet. The owners were wonderful and did everything possible to make sure I was made comfortable. This beautiful home was build with love and we were made to feel like family. Every inch of the house has been put together with thought and is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was prepared for us on our schedule and was delicious. I would go out of my way to stay here again!

Great experience

Easy to get to with little to no traffic. The room was clean and charming. Owners Katherine and Chris were very helpful providing info on local events. Breakfast was great. Overall a wonderful stay!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and the hospitality was fantastic! Everything was clean and tidy.

We had a wonderful stay. Owner/innkeeper was a delight. The family did an amazing job with the restoration of the place. Bed and Breakfast and was outstanding. We will definitely book again when we are visiting that area. Glad we decided to book there instead of the hotels in Halifax or the nearby towns.

We had a great stay! It’s a beautiful house and grounds. Claudia was very friendly and pleasant and made us feel very much at home. The bed was comfortable and the room was so relaxing. We will definitely stay here again.
