"Another excellent relaxing short stay at the Orchid Hotel We have stayed here last year and will definitely stay again this year The staff are all polite friendly and professional. Tom on the bar and restaurant was very attentive and a joy to speak with as was Joana on reception, The hotel is in a residential area and this makes for a relaxing stay.The food in the restaurant was excellent beautifully presented and delicious. Down side car park attached to hotel is down a steep slope so not good if you can’t walk far, no direct access from car park into hotel. "Was hesitant of booking my parents in as my dad has difficulty walking and cant do hills ect where as mum likes to shop! lol - best of both worlds the stay here ! LITERALLY a few hundred steps to the main square where dad could sit at the cafe and pass the day away whilst mum shopped . Staff AMAZING knew he had walking issues so put him right next to the lift with a free UPGRADE and every time saw him trying to carry things took it off him and helped him . wasnt expecting evening entertainment...

"You can't beat the location of Sandbanks hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. I would not go into the swimming pool again as I found it very difficult to get in and out via the awful metal steps. As most of the guests were elderly I doubt if any of them would use the pool. The Haven pool is much safer with wide steps."
