10/10 Excellent

"Great stay, quite impressed. Our flight arrived in the morning but the lovely staff member at the counter was able to find us a room which was ready to go and got us an early check-in with no extra charge. Much appreciated after not getting much sleep on the plane! Room was nice and clean, some temporary issues with the AC and the toilet arose a few days in - but both times that we got in touch regarding these issues somebody was dispatched and arrived within 10 minutes - both issues were then completely resolved promptly, with the option to change rooms if they weren't. Plenty of shops and places to eat around too. Nice pools and great beach. Overall great stay."

"Unfortunately, the hotel has become very very tired. Even had wood trim in bathroom cracked and looks termite eaten The Royal Hawaiian Hotel was a big disappointment. The room price far exceeds the quality Food was ok - not great - even the coffee was watered down with no flavor. Wait staff uniforms look tired and blah - they allow any shoes which cheapens the look The staff says next year will be a refresh of the property I hope it is much more than a “refresh”. Overall with the moniker as the “Grand Dame” on Waikiki - it sure has lost its luster and more Very disappointing"

Airport Honolulu Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

"I don’t even know where to begin. The whole building looks like it hasn’t been improved or painted since the 1970s. I cannot believe Wyndham would put their name on this building. The restaurant and bar they have was grossly understaffed and very overpriced. The in room air conditioner was so loud, it was like sleeping on the runway of the airport. The front desk staff, the gentleman that drove the transport to the airport, and the wonderful lady in their little convenience store were the only highlight of that entire hotel. I guess if you’re looking for a quick one night stay before your departure from the airport this place would be suitable. One word of advice is lower your expectations."

"The room and overall hotel were very clean and modern. The staff were helpful and very nice. The pool and gym area were also very clean. It was nice that we were able to use the pool towels on the beach too. The hotel was a nice location near a lot of great shops and restaurants! Would definitely stay again!"
