"This was our favourite stay during our trip to Vietnam. Huge, beautiful rooms. A very relaxing stay. Staff are absolutely wonderful! They were very helpful in retrieving my lost bag and supportive and flexible when our travel plans had changed due to bad storms and the typhoon. Spa is sensational. This is the perfect property to recharge yourself. The staff truly make this property standout. Well done and thank you."

Our stay at Alisa Cruise was disappointing for two main reasons. First, the overall experience is extremely touristic and industrial. All activities they offer end up being very crowded as you do the same activities as at least another dozen boats. They took us to a beach which was so tiny and busy and we preferred going back to the tiny...

"Fabulous boat ride and stay in Hal long Bay, Vietnam. The food was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been better. It was just a wonderful trip all the way around. The cooking class was fun too! Loved the trip!"

This was definitely a very rememberable experience with a six course meal. The food for the whole trip was some of the nicest I had. The view from our room was breathtaking. "Good value for money, staff were great, food was plentiful and fresh, rooms could do with a spruce up but comfortable bed and had own bathroom/toilet. Crew were really helpful and they made the trip fun for all passengers. Squid fishing was fun and making Vietnamese spring rolls. Disappointing to see so much trash in the sea, although this is out of control of this particular cruise boat."

"My recent 2-day,1-night trip abroad Grand Pioneer Cruise with my husband and 2 other couples in Ha Long Bay was spectacular. From the moment we checked in at the waiting lounge, stepped on board to final farewell, every detail was executed with details. The only fly in the ointment was when disembark waiting for car pickup in the lounge, we were asked to move to the other side because the area we sat was reserved for check in customers where there was no sign to indicate that. This left us feelinga bit anticlimactic. Same situation happened when we had a brunch buffet after kayaking before checking out. We were told there was no more beef noodle soup but chicken. In the end, staff brought me chicken soup without noodle. Totally different from the first day we were on board. "
"Stayed here for a week, had a lovely time playing golf and doing the day cruise around ha long bay which was organised by the hotel. Simon made us feel really welcome and comfortable during our stay. He couldn’t have done more for us and checked in with us throughout. My boyfriend was really unwell during our stay and as soon as Simon was aware he did everything to help which made it so much easier for us, we were grateful to be there when he was unwell.
