The hotel is aging, a few minor things need upgrading at some point BUT a very very clean and comfy place!! Staff in every capacity was excellent! When using the Pool there were cigarette butt and litter issues, disappointing hunans! You "should" check tho over the wall, could easily be removed and wd make everything better policed. Truly we loved our stay and will return. I simply have ISSUES w cig butts. Thx ♡

I absolutely loved the balcony!

There is no parking at the hotel but just behind the property there is a parking garage which was very dirty and had questionable people around it. San Carlos is clean inside but the outside is dirty on the sidewalks thst is probably out of their control. The rooms are well maintained with outdated furniture and the TV only has local channels. We had called the lobby for extra blankets because it was very cold in the room that has no thermostat. We also called the lobby for spoons or forks which the hotel did not have gor the guest. No refrigerator in the room or microwave but there is a small coffee maker in the room with sugar packets no cream available. I would give a higher rating is all these things were provided. The staff were also friendly.
