+ can walk to Mitsukoshi Department store, which is the oldest one in the Japan.
+ can walk to Tokyo St. (10 min.), Ginza St. (20-30 min.)
+ can walk to three stations in 3-10 min. (Ganda, Sin-Nihonbashi, Mitsukoshimae), which are very useful subway lines
+ can walk to two cvs in 3 min.
+ lots of kitchenwares
+ lots of language services available (not only just Eng.!)
- little bit far from Ueno Station (for easy access to SkyLiner(exp. train for NARITA Airport)), but acceptable distance (~30 min. by subway)

This is the hotel we keep coming back to whenever we visit Tokyo — and our two-night stay from June 3rd reminded us exactly why.
We had a small special request before our arrival, and the way the team responded genuinely moved us. It didn’t feel like a routine reply; it felt like someone actually cared. That kind of warmth is hard to find, and it set the tone for the entire stay.
The bedding was wonderfully comfortable — we slept better than we had in a long time. The garden is quietly beautiful, the kind of place that makes you forget you’re in the middle of one of the world’s busiest cities.
Having access to the dining and facilities across three properties — Grand Prince Takanawa, Shin Takanawa, and The Prince Sakura Tower — turned out to be far more convenient than we expected. And the easy access to Takanawa Gateway City made getting around a breeze.
We’ll be back. No question.
