“The Colonial Hotel is a hotel I would love to return to!! The Conceirge staff are pleasant to speak with. My family arrived much earlier than our check in time. We were able to park our car there, use the pool and amenities or walk to the beach until our room was ready. They called me when it was ready. Very helpful!! Apparently the hotel had some renovations recently and it looks very nice and clean. A must stay and return!! ”
“I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. I liked the convenience of the open clothes rack and the room set up. I liked the size of the vanity and its position outside the bathroom. Perfect for getting ready in the morning. The fridge was more than the usual small room fridge. It was a very comfortable stay. ”

“Just spent two nights at this beautiful location. It's way more than a B&B and not quite a hotel. Set in what was either purpose built or was once a spacious mansion, the recently renovated facility is first class. Cyndie the caretaker and Mike the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful while being completely unobtrusive. Met some really nice other guests too. It's a ways out of the hubbub of Grand Bend, so it's very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be staying here again and...

“Grateful they allowed my dog to stay in the room. Place was clean. Looked like faulty wiring in the room, and a couple of issues with other rooms (door doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling, another room door was open, entire room in disarray). When we went for the free breakfast, the restaurant was sweltering. The server offered to seat us where it was “better” - it was not better, and we left”
