โThis property was a great surprise! I booked it for the price. But the experience was great! The property manager noticed on our reservation that we had kids traveling with us and made sure we knew about the river and games available to play on the property. We cant wait to go back and experience all that the property has to offer!โ
โThis charming cottage with a front porch looking across a bubbling brook to a small pond with mountains in the distance was such a better option than a chain hotel room with common hallways. It is a bit out of town but you can go into historic Durango for activities and then return here for a peaceful sleep, a pastoral setting and a delightful breakfast with other guests. More room for kids to move around in or go check out the chickens at Chick Inn. โ
โGreat accomodations for our night! They handled our later arrival well. The hot tub was lovely. Breakfast on the patio with the hummingbirds was a treat. It felt like a homey retreat where we met other families on Durango and Western slope adventures.โ
โStayed here 1 night, has a cabin like feel, clean, safe area, the room had 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, beds were comfortable, traveling with famlly. โ
โCheryl & Keith were both extremely friendly and a joy to meet. Although I missed in the e mail that I was supposed to check in by 7:00 on Sunday evening. She called me as I was going over Wolf Creek Pass and waited until I arrived at 7:45. Then Keith was kind enogh to visit with me for an hour giving me advice regarding four wheeling in the area.
I highly recommend the property and well be staying there again!โ
โPlace was great for the price! They had a huge TV, which was fun because we had just been tent camping. Nice amenities, including coffee in the room. Bed was comfortable, and enormous if you like that. It seemed large even for a king. Maybe it was because of that little tent the night before!โ
โThis is a lovely hotel settled conveniently across from the Cumbres and Toltec railroad station. Itโs brand new, but renovated with much of the 1905-1920s features from the old building. Comfortable beds, and lovely updated bathrooms (with soft towels!) Beautiful!
We were lucky to experience their restaurantโs soft opening! Yummy food featuring southwest flavor. The bar is gorgeous and stocked. We took a beautiful walk around the sweet little town of Chama afterward. Highly recommend!โ
โAmzing little gem of a property. Loved the vibes and aesthetic of the whole lodge and it is nestled into the mountains making of breath taking views! If I find my self that way again I definitely stay here again! 5 stars for sure!โ
โGreat little Euro type lodging. Right on the banks of the river, easy walking to town, river walk, hot springs, modern fire pit, great patio, even bikes to borrow!! Very clean, well appointed, comfortable bedding. Independent check in/out. Staff availability by phone and text. We loved it. Next visit to Pagosa is a no brainer.โ
โRoom was nice. There was no TV in my room which is ok cuz not many people need to watch TV in their hotel rooms when visiting Pagosa Springs.
There was no AC in my room but an electric fan only. I was ok with sleeping in the room with windows open.
Front office informed us after 10PM is quiet hrs because the walls are not sound proof. This is due to it being an old building.โ
